James Leonard Driedger of Chesley passed away at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, in his 72nd year.
Dear friend of Irene (Liefso) Driedger. Loving father of Mark and his wife JoAnn of Port Elgin, and Krista and her husband Wade Rathwell of Elsinore. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Elliot, Emmett, Lena, and Daphne. Jim will be fondly remembered by his siblings, George (Kathy) Driedger of Kingsville, Daniel (Darlene) Driedger of Drayton, and Mary (Mike) Roney of Port Franks, brothers-in-law Ken (Karen) Toman and Paul (Jannette) Gascho, as well as many nieces and nephews and the entire Liefso family. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer, brother Richard, sisters Marlene Toman, Sharon Gascho, Patricia Driedger, niece Heidi Gascho, and his parents Harry and Margaret (Tiessen) Driedger.
Private family services will be held with inurnment to follow in Paisley Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
