David Leslie McGillivray, of Chesley, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in his 64th year.
Survived by his daughter Stephanie (JJ) and her son, Henry, his siblings Lloyd (Cynthia) of Bruce Township, Marilyn (Hugh) Grahame of Tara, and Janice (John) Wade of Kemptville, his Aunt Diane Cuerrier, his cousin Michelle and her son Marcus. He will be remembered by his nieces, Michaela, Logan, Kendra, and Grace. David was predeceased by his parents James and Jacqueline (McGill) McGillivray.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family inurnment will take place in Chesley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or memorial donations, please do an act of kindness for a friend or stranger in David’s memory.

When Dave was a teenager, a group of us from our concessions, would get together in the winter to enjoy snowmobiling around the countryside! These are special memories that will always remind me of him and the fun we all shared together…
