Burial Services
We have caring and dedicated staff and the resources available to provide a service tailored to suit the wishes and needs of you and your family and it is our desire to exceed your expectations. We will arrange the logistics of how, when and where. We will look after obituary notices in all the appropriate media and receive on-line condolences. We will provide the opportunity for you and encourage you to personalize the service and remember a unique life with things like favourite music selections of country, rock and roll or inspirational music, memory boards, colour portrait memorial cards and guest register books. We will listen to you and that is the most important thing we can do for you.
When a death occurs, contact us immediately by telephone, regardless of the time of day or night or where the death has occurred. Our telephones are answered 24 hours a day, every day. You may be asked at a hospital or other health care facility for the name of the funeral home that should be contacted. Unfortunately, it may not be possible for them to call us until the release of your family member has been processed and for many reasons this may not happen for several hours or even not until the following day. Upon initial contact, we will make available to you our services, facilities, experience and reputation. We will assume all necessary responsibilities in caring for the deceased and the concerns of the family.
Information that will be required during an arrangement meeting to complete documentation for vital statistics and to register the death are:
Full name of Deceased
Address of usual residence
Date of birth
Place of birth, province or country
Social insurance number
Marital status
Full name of spouse
Occupation of Deceased
Mother's full name (maiden name) and place of birth
Father's full name and place of birth
We will also need to know the name of the executor or the name of a person who is the responsible representative acting on behalf of the deceased.
